RuPaul, the world’s first drag supermodel will speak at Toronto Pride on Sunday.
‘I’m coming to Pride Toronto because I love Toronto, and I love people who dance to the beat of a different drummer — people who have cracked the code on humanity,’ RuPaul told thestar.com. ‘For me, Pride Toronto is about young people who are searching for something to hold on to and trying to find their tribe.’

RuPaul rose to fame in 1993 with the release of the song Supermodel (You Better Work). Since then he has been involved in the music industry, television, film and books. He can currently be seen on the reality show Skin Wars and soon in the return of fan favorite RuPaul’s Drag Race.
RuPaul is in inspiration to many and has on a few occasions said: ‘As gay people we get to choose our family.’ On Sunday he will join his ‘family’ at the The Final Play of Toronto Pride at Yonge-Dundas Square at 7pm.
The finale will also feature Joe Jonas and DNCE, Well-Strung, Alex Newell, Honey Dijon, and International Honoured Guests, The Prancing Elites.
