To make a firm stand against bullying, several celebrities are coming together for UK’s first ever National Stand Up To Bullying Day.

The Stand Up To Bullying campaign is supported by The Diana Award, a charity founded in memory of the late Princess Diana.

To mark the day of solidarity, the campaign launched an anti-bullying video featuring several celebrities, some of whom are members of the LGBTQ community.

We see ‘Hollyoaks’ star Kieron Richardson, ‘Queer as Folk’ actor Antony Cotton, and also former boy band ‘Union J’ singer George Shelley who came out as bisexual in February this year.

Singers Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts of Girls Aloud also make an appearance in the video.

‘No one should ever lie in bed at night, hoping they won’t wake up because of bullying,’ the video says. ‘On Tuesday 5th July, we want you to stand up to bullying.’
