Alan Cumming, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Co team up for Hillary Clinton music video

Jesse Tyler Ferguson and a whole number of TV and Broadway names show their support for Hillary Clinton

Alan Cumming, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and a whole host of celebrities have come together to show their support for Hillary Clinton’s presidential bid – through a music video.

With Clinton as their official presidential nominee, the Democratic National Committee has already made history.

Now, in a surprise move and just in time for the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Philadelphia, they have also released a music video in celebration of the nomination.

Produced by Elizabeth Banks, the video – a cappella a la Pitch Perfect – features a number of names from TV, Broadway and beyond.

Performing their version of Rachel Platten’s fight song besides Cumming and Ferguson are the likes of Tony-winner Audra McDonald, Jane Fonda and Idina Menzel, but also young talent like Broadway-bound Ben Platt – who rose to fame through Pitch Perfect.

Clinton also shared the video on her official Twitter account.

Watch the video below:

As part of the DNC, a host of Broadway stars also performed the Broadway for Orlando benefit single What the World Needs Now, which raised thousands of dollars in the aftermath of the Orlando shooting.
