US Olympian and WNBA star Elena Delle Donne has come out in Vogue.
The 6’5 Chicago Sky basketball player, named the MVP of the entire WNBA league, has revealed her sexuality and that she is engaged in the simplest and sweetest way possible.
In August’s issue of Vogue, there is no coming out interview. No tears. No struggle.
Just simple: ‘…Elena divides her time between traveling with her team, the Chicago Sky, and her family’s home in the rolling green landscape of Wilmington, Delaware. She and her fiancee, Amanda Clifton, keep apartments in both Chicago and Wilmington.’
And that’s it.
The two-page profile notes Elena and Amanda run Delle Donne Academy clinics together, ‘run for children ages seven through 18’.
Check out a few of their pictures on Instagram.
