Christopher Biggins has been thrown out of the Celebrity Big Brother House and he wasn’t even up for eviction.
Biggins entered the show as a ‘national treasure’ but shocked LGBTI Britain when he attacked bisexuals earlier this week.
Speaking in the Big Brother house, Biggins had said: ‘The worst type I’m afraid to say are the bisexuals. What it is is people not wanting to admit they’re gay.’
The remarks are especially surprising because they come from an openly-gay man whose coolest claim to fame is his part in the bisexual-embracing movie version of the Rocky Horror Show.
A Channel 5 spokesperson tells Digital Spy: ‘Since entering Big Brother, he has made a number of comments capable of causing great offense to housemates and the viewing public.
“Big Brother does not tolerate offensive language capable of causing widespread offense. Christopher Biggins has left the house.’
Biggins had previously spoken out against bisexuals as well as against same-sex marriage equality. He has also said he is a big fan of Margaret Thatcher who banned education about LGBTI issues in schools, blighting a generation.
